How To Write Ads, Blogs & Scripts that ACTUALLY sell

If you didn’t know already – 5% of content on social media gets 95% attention.

Why?

Because most content is painfully BOOORING.

It’s the same stuff over and over again. Predictable. Stale. It's as dry as your mouth after a night of too much tequila.

So, how do you get into that top 5% instead of being lost in the forgettable 95%?

Stop Writing Like A Robot

Firstly you gotta ditch the bland robotic writing style… Nobody wants to read that.

Instead – Inject some energy into your words.

How???

Write like you’re talking to a friend. Keep it casual, conversational, just like I’m doing here. Imagine sitting at a bar, having a drink, and chatting with a buddy. That’s the vibe you want.

You should keep your sentences SHORT and PUNCHY. Occasionally, you can go for a longer sentence, bust most of them should be quick and clear.

Also, forget about about gigantic walls of texts, huge paragraphs… Make it easy to read.

Always Use Sharp Hooks

If you want people to actually read your content, you need to hook them right from the beginning.

Make your first sentence grab their attention and hold onto it. Then keep them glued to your content with every single line. It's all about creating momentum that pulls them through to the end.

What you definitely DON’T want to do is this:

“We’ve been in business for 20 years, and we care about our customers more than anyone else.”

Nobody cares honestly, everyone’s heard that before, it’s predictable and weak. Boring won’t sell.

But now… Here’s the real secret sauce that will make your ads SELL.

Make It About Them

This is a real game changer – Stop talking about yourself.

The reader does not care about you, they only care about themselves and their problems.

Every reader looks for WIIFM (What’s in it for me) and you should include it in every single Ad, Blogpost, Script, etc…

Make your content all about them - their needs, their challenges and and how you can solve their problems.

Skip The BULLSHIT While Writing

Last thing I'll cover.

Don't dance around their objections, people are very skeptical, and you can't afford to ignore that.

Address their concers head-on. Be UPFRONT, be HONEST, and show EMPATHY.

If something does not make sense, explain it. If they have doubts, confront them with cold, hard facts.

Just be REAL.

And yeah, that’s exactly almost all you need to get into that 5% that get 95% of the views.

Talk soon,

Mateja
